After being successfully caught, the player faces N either with the two Legendaries clashing or not. Even then, he is defeated and is soon confronted by Ghetsis, who reveals he is N's father and his true plot to rule the world by using N.

After Ghetsis is defeated, Alder asks N if he's realized his mistake, however N doesn't answer. The game ends with him saying "Farewell". Silver sparkly wind flies across and settles on N and the camera zooms up to his eyes. Then the screen fades to white. N is mentioned by Looker after all Seven Sages excluding Ghetsis are found and arrested. N begs the player to help him. The player defeats him nonetheless. The player then follows the Zoroark all the way to N's Castle. The player then meets N once again and follows him around his castle.

You have to catch the dragon in order to proceed, unless your PC and party are both full. Be careful not to talk to the dragon until you're ready to try to catch it. Save the game first if you wish, then go and do whatever training you want to do. You can come back and talk to the dragon whenever you're ready.

You should use False Swipe on the dragon if you can. Read about how to get False Swipe. Also, if possible, inflict Sleep or Freeze on the dragon before trying to catch it. If this is not possible, try inflicting Paralysis.

Then, throw Dusk Balls if you have them. Otherwise, use Timer Balls if 30 turns have passed, or if all else fails, throw Ultra Balls. If you KO the dragon, or your party is defeated, the dragon will still be standing there waiting for you to catch it, so you can try as many times as you need to. It would be wise to keep the legendary dragon with you, because it's really tough. After you catch the legendary dragon, there are a couple of battles that you will need to do, and you won't be able to save the game until after you have won, so be prepared.

If you are fighting Zekrom and you have Reshiram in your party, try attacking right away with DragonBreath. You might be able to withstand Zekrom's attacks to defeat it with Reshiram even though it's weak to Zekrom's DragonBreath.
