Where is desolace

While players could spend hours staring at the old Kalimdor maps trying to remember how to get there, finding the way can be difficult with those old Classic maps. Desolace is a neutral land on the western coast of Kalimdor. The region is inhabited mostly by barren wastelands, vicious tribes of centaurs, and some amazing loot.

This contested land holds smaller settlements of both horde and alliance races. It's a level zone that isn't held by either faction, which makes a fertile breeding ground for PvP.

While there's little in the way of landscaping, there's a lot to do here, including visiting the holy caverns of Maraudon or the Thunder Axe Fortress. But to do any of that, players will have to get there first.

In Cataclysm, one of the many expansions of WoW , Blizzard added boats that sail out from Stormwind to help players get around a little easier. The best way to find the wind rider is to unlock the flight path. You need to make your way to the Shadowprey Village. This is where the wind rider is located. Find the pier and go to the end of it. There are high-level mobs there that can take you down fairly quickly.
