Wp7 where is my update

Just to pick one example: last summer a friend purchased an iPod Touch and asked me to help them setup iTunes, update it, and load some apps and music onto the device. After following Apple's instructions line by line with no troubles, I got to the part about updating the firmware. I let it go through, and bam, the device will now only show a battery icon, no iOS, even after a hard reset.

Searches for the particular iTunes error code it was throwing found threads in dozens of different forums with the same issue.

Fortunately it had just been purchased; woe be the customer who didn't pay for the AppleCare package and happened to run into this 31 days after buying it I could spend several more paragraphs ranting about the other troubles I've had over the years. My point is, it's not all rainbows and unicorns on Apple's side of the fence, despite what their marketing department would like you to believe.

Slightly more on topic: an unrelated issue, but the fix may not be: my LG Quantum suddenly stopped connecting to my 64 bit system this morning. After installing Win7 SP1 it started working again. Perhaps that is related in some way?

Tried to use both the 64 bit package first then the 32 bit. But when I'm link to market place via Zone program. It always ask me to update my phone when I choose some app that run on WP7. How to solve this thing? This thread is locked.

I mean that does Nokia and Microsoft have a secret contract that Mango wount be released world wide before Nokia is ready to release their first WP7 phone.
