Csi which is best

My parents were always into whodunits and they thought the same. So, all prejudgements out the window, I gave it a try.

Well, here we are. It was brilliant. I was enthused! Exclamation marks were flying out of my mouth like arrows into a teen girl! So, seven years in, two spin offs down the line and a whopping total of fifteen seasons complete, which is the best one, and why is it so damn good? Running from , the first CSI series ran the longest, ending with episodes.

CSI: Cyber , which premiered in , only ran for two seasons, ending six months after the original series aired its last episode. The characters at the different CSI labs often worked together, and the franchise aired 12 crossover episodes within the franchise and four crossovers with other series, including Without A Trace and Mythbusters.

Working nights, their cases often involved casinos, the mob, and bodies buried in the desert. What Made This Show Unique in the Franchise: As a limited series, CSI: Vegas takes the franchise back to its roots, reuniting old faces with new blood and building a story in a more modern era.

Unfortunately, once they secure the money, the kidnapper blows himself up, leaving Nick underground and needing to be rescued ASAP. Nick and the team work a violent murder where there is evidence that three out of the four family members are definitely murdered.

But Nick has a soft spot for kids and has hope that the little girl, Cassie, is alive. They go looking for clues and find chewed candy in every place they look.

This was one of my favorite Sara-centric episodes. A male student is arrested for the murder of a popular high school girl. Sara is convinced Hannah is lying but only has so much time to prove it. This was one of my favorite Catherine-centric episodes but boy did they give her a lot to deal with.

When she goes to see Sam, she sees his murder. The team came together to rally around Greg after he was attacked by a gang they were investigating. This episode not only gives actor Eric Szmanda some of his best scenes in the entire series but it also serves a commentary of the choices…or lack thereof that members of the police sometimes have when faced with dangerous criminals.

This shocking two-parter stands out for multiple reasons…and is an instant must-watch for this GSR shipper. The identity of the miniature killer is finally revealed, but not before Sara is kidnapped by the suspect. A distraught Grissom — who had to reveal his relationship with Sara to the team — leads the rest of the CSIs through an exhausting search in the vast Nevada desert. Sara believes him but thinks Hannah may have done something.

Another danger of television law enforcement is that you may eventually become the target of the killer that you have been hunting. Captured and left in a death trap, the team must race to find their friend before she becomes the murderer's latest victim. Another memorable season finale, this episode features some of the most striking imagery in the series.

From the shot of Sarah's hand reaching out from an overturned car, or the killer slashing Grissom's throat in a hallucination, there are some memorable scenes in this episode. Gil Grissom was the first leader of the CSI team and is probably still the character most associated with the show.

His departure marked a turning point in the show, and he leaves on a memorable note. Racing to find the Dick and Jane serial killer, Grissom reaches out to criminology professor Raymond Langston. After the death of Warrick Brown earlier in the series, it was gratifying to see Grissom get to ride off into the sunset alive and at peace to be with the woman he loves.

This episode also sets up Langston as the new central protagonist of the show. When a crime drama needs to drum up excitement for an episode, they often drop the ominous hint that somebody is going to die during the episode.

Most of the time the one to go is a side character and not a member of the main cast as we are led to believe. But sometimes a character that the audience has come to know and love do meet their end, and when done right, it's an emotional gut punch. Directly following the episode "For Gedda" , the team must solve the murder of their friend and colleague. Grissom's tearful eulogy is one of the saddest scenes in the entire series.
